Maple-Balsamic Vinaigrette

Maple syrup adds a touch of sweetness to this balsamic vinaigrette. Toss with a salad of apples, Cheddar and spinach, or serve over hot or room-temper.
- 4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 3 table spoons pure maple syrup
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon. Dijon mustard
- Pepper to taste
- 1 cup olive oil
- Whisk oil into other ingredients or shake together in a large jar with a tight-fitting lid.
- Shake before serving.
